Op. Dr. Necdet Derici, a dedicated and experienced male surgeon, was born on March 1, 1971, in Turkey. He is a married Turkish national with a “B” class driving license. Dr. Derici’s impressive educational background includes graduating from Istanbul University’s Medical Faculty, showcasing his commitment to a career in medicine. Prior to his university studies, he attended Cumhuriyet High School in Ereğli.
Dr. Derici has accumulated extensive work experience in the field of general surgery. He worked at Istanbul Education Hospital (Samatya) from 1995 to 2009, honing his surgical skills and knowledge. Subsequently, he continued his career at Avrasya Hospital from 2009 to 2011 and Ataköy Hospital from 2011 to 2022.
To further enhance his expertise, Dr. Derici pursued additional education and obtained certificates in specialized areas. In 2015, he underwent training in obesity surgery in Belgium, and in 2017, he completed a three-week program in metabolic surgery in France.
